When you think of the National Network for Mental Health (NNMH), what do you think of?

Do you think of a national charity, service delivery, network and partnership creation, voicing the interests of mental health consumer/survivors, or the leadership of the Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health?

There are a number of things that make up the NNMH and all that we do to support the mental health community of Canada... for that purpose...

Did you Know?

• The NNMH is a registered National Charity;
• Our BUILT Network, a skills development program of the NNMH has supported more than 700 people living in Canada, into or back into the workforce, increasing their quality of life and positively impacting on the tax base of Canada [ www.builtnetwork.ca ];
• The Canadian Alliance on Mental Illness and Mental Health (CAMIMH) [ www.camimh.ca ], the organization currently responsible for the national Mental Illness Awareness Week campaign [ www.miaw.ca ], is currently Chaired by the National Executive Director of the NNMH;
• To offset the infrastructure cost of operating the NNMH we have also increased our revenue stream by offering internet technology support to such organizations and agencies as the Mental Health Commission of Canada [ www.mentalhealthcommission.ca ];
• The National Network is a founding member of Interrelate [ http://www.interrelate.info/ ], an international coalition of moderate National Mental Health Consumer Driven Organizations;
• Canadian Coalition of Alternative Mental Health Resources [ www.ccamhr.ca ] is housed at NNMH and supported with NNMH and partner organization resources nationally.

• Any donation to the NNMH over $20.00 is receipted for tax purposes;
• The NNMH is currently making franchise opportunities for its BUILT Network project available;
• National Network for Mental Health is the only non-diagnostic specific, mental health consumer/survivor driven organization in Canada that is both national in scope and service.
